After a laboured first half the game came to life when Andy Waterworth scored with a deft flick, unfortunately for Andy he took a kick to his calf and had to be substituted shortly after. The three changes made midway through the second half really changed the game and when Philip Lowrey added a second 10 minutes later we knew that we were in for a little bit of history. Truth be told even though we didn't play that well in the first half we still should have scored when two gilt edge chances from headers were put straight at their keeper and Matthew Tipton was denied a stonewall penalty. James Knowles almost added a third near the end with a supeb free-kick which was equally superbly saved by the home keeper. Not only did we win away in Europe for 47 years but we kept a clean sheet, so let's hope we can complete the task next Wednesday.
