So its now 487 minutes since we last scored a competitve goal and to be honest we didn't look remotely like breaking that shocking run of form. Be interesting to know what our longest spell without scoring is as we must be close to breaking that! Even though we had Thompson, Carvill, McAllister and Tipton (be interesting to see what he makes of it) all on for the last 30 minutes we couldn't muster one shot at the Ballymena keeper. In fact I think that the only two real efforts we had on goal were both from Jamie Mulgrew that didn't really look like troubling the keeper too much. To be honest Ballymena looked as if they wanted it a lot more than we did and if they keep their belief they will be a very hard team to beat, home or away. Our defence, with the exception of Winkie Murphy, looked very ordinary and I know it is only the first game of the season but the old guard is looking stale and a change wouldn't go amiss - we need to do something.
