Portadown (Home) - won 2-0

Revenge is sweet and so it was at Windsor today where without playing to the top of our game we overcame a decent Portadown side who commanded a lot of the second half mainly due to the fact that our midfield sat so deep it was like playing with 9 men in defence! Once we decided to push forward we started to look dangerous again and created the second goal from a well worked move. Over the 90 minutes both teams created a number of chances although, with the exception of a couple of efforts each, the keepers weren't overly busy. Don't know what the score is with Rory Patterson - a lot of the time he doesn't look interested and other times he looks lost, he must be due a suspension soon so maybe it's time to try someone else upfront. And I can't go without commenting, once again, on the standard of officiating - they were shocking for both teams today, it seems since they got the extra money a few years back that they have become worse (if that was possible!).
Goal scorers: Jim Ervin, Robbie Garrett.
