Three points gained but, for most of the game, we were still not playing to anything like the potential that this squad of players can offer. Before our opening goal we could have been three down but thanks to Alan Blayney we were still in the game. The centre of our defence is shocking, they seem determined to give the opposition gift opportunites every game. I would love to know why our future centre backs are sitting in the stands watching rather than out on the pitch. We certainly missed Gaulty although Jamie Mulgrew put in a good performance and Jamie Tomelty looked lively when he came on.
Goal scorers: William Murphy, Peter Thompson.
