Not a classic by an standards but a result that takes us through to our 5th Irish Cup Final in the last 6 seasons. Two superbly taken goals, one in each half, eased us past a battling Glentoran side that created a number of chances against our nervous back line but some poor finishing and a couple of excellent saves by Alan Blayney kept our 4th clean sheet in a row. That's not to say we didn't create a number of chances ourselves with an excellent chance by Jamie Tomelty before he did score being the glaring one, the time he had compose himself before he shot was unreal instead he rushed his effort and made it easy for their keeper. Curtis Allen produced a great effort near the end which was pushed over. All in all a satisfying afternoon and now it's on to May 7th against Crusaders.
Goal scorers: Jamie Tomelty, Peter Thompson.
