Glentoran Home - won 3-2

It was certainly with no help from the referee that we won our third match in a row against Glentoran as some of his decisions, certainly in the second half, left a lot be desired, not least the award of a penalty when the ball was clearly chested down. But enough of him as we are now on the verge of winning our 50th League Championship and like the rest of the season this game was a battle. Nathan Hanley has certainly added to our set pieces with the first two goals coming from excellent deliveries from corner kicks. A delightful third goal from a nice piece of football was the highlight of the night. Only down side was Steven Douglas's sending off late into added on time, but then even after that there should have been a couple of red cards handed out the opposition who seemed hell bent carrying on the physical play from Saturday - oh how times have changed!
Goal scorers: Philip Lowry (2), Chris Casement.
