Took a while to get this game going, very much a start stop affair with the referee, Davy Malcolm, doing his best to take centre stage as he normally does. Not the greatest of spectacles but a win is a win especially at this stage of the competition. And oh shock of shocks we were awarded a penalty; the first domestic one since February 2010 an incredible statistic considering how often we are in the opponents area week in, week out. Dungannon were very disappointing with their normal footballing style going out the window in favour of the long ball game but in saying that Alan Blayney made 3 or 4 excellent stops to keep us in front. At the moment it's a guessing game as to who DJ plays in the centre of defence, I can't remember the last time the same two players started a game - surely that's having a negative impact on the whole team?
Goal scorer: Peter Thompson (2)
