At long last it's nice to write a positive report on the days game. Today you couldn't fault the performance and a repeat of this is what we will be calling for over the coming weeks and months. On a difficult surface we actually got the ball down and tore the DC defence apart in the first half with both Michael Carvill and Mark McAllister in excellent form. We seemed to take our foot off the pedal in the second half but still had more than enough to win comfortably. It's no coincidence that our improved recent form has come since Jamie Mulgrew has returned to the side as he seems to link up perfectly in midfield and also takes a lot of the pressure from Michael Gault. And finally we have someone who can take a decent free-kick - step forward Daryl Fordyce - although he didn't score with the two that he took, he at least made the keeper work.
Goal scorers: Philip Lowry (2), Mark McAllister (2), Daryl Fordyce.
