A totally uninspiring match in which any one who was in attendance could have played in goal for Linfield and still have kept a clean sheet such was the ineptitude of the Distillery attack. On a pitch that didn't allow for any form of decent football we done our best to keep the ball down and play some reasonable stuff. Good to see young David Armstrong come in in place of Albert Watson and do well. Seen Albert at the game today and what a sight his eye is after the clash up at the Brandywell - 10 stitches i think he has - hope he recovers soon to lead us on to the Premiership title. On a side note, Ballyskeagh must be the worst place to watch a match from in the Irish League.
Goal scorers: Michael Carvill, Peter Thompson, Daryll Fordyce.
