Another match where we dominated most of the proceedings but just couldn't score until Albert Watson popped up in the 90th minute with and excellent header to secure the win. Had we been awarded a certain penalty in the 2nd minute when Philip Lowry was fouled by the keeper it probably would have set us up for the rest of the game but instead we continued to struggle to finish off a Coleraine side who set their stall out for a draw from the start; When we got the ball down and moved forward through midfield we looked dangerous with Jamie Mulgrew just back into the team after injury playing a commanding role. Both keepers had very little to do all game with the best chances being squandered by the Linfield forwards. Apart from that it was another shocking performance by the referee, Courtney, how this man officiates Irish League (or any league) football is beyond me!
Goal scorer: Albert Watson.
