On a pitch that resembled what Solitude used to look like on a bad day we had most of the play but lacked that crucial killer punch. This was much like the game on Boxing Day when we dominated play but just couldn't produce the killer punch, if we are to retain the Premier League title we will have to start making and converting more chances. As noted we had plenty of the play and had it not been for two poor finishes by Aaron Burns and Mark McAllister in either half it could have been a different story but that's football for you. Need to get thngs back on track against the Crues on Saturday. Once again Mark Courtney was his usual self aided by a shocking linesman on the far side of the pitch, it does help if you know the rules of the game before going out! In one instance he flagged a Coleraine player off-side when Michael Gault played the ball back.
