A comfortable win against a gritty Coagh side who in the end were well beaten but not disgraced. After a slow start - you know the ones that you get the feeling that your team has decided all they need to do is turn up to win - we scored two quick goals that put that feeling to bed. Alan Blayney had a comfortable enough day in goal with not a lot to do apart from a couple late attempts when Coagh really should have scored. Had to feel some sympathy with their #7 (Campbell) who, after taking an early knock, was substituted after 15 minutes; apparently it was his dream to play at Windsor and something he was really looking forward to since the draw. Once again Peter Thompson added to his phenomenal Irish Cup scoring record, surely no-one past or present comes anywhere close!
Goal scorers: Philip Lowry, Peter Thompson (3).
