Only match to beat the weather today and those who attended would not have been disappointed at what was served up. Now 11 points clear in the race for the Premiership there should be no letting up from here on in. Strong overall performance from the team but we looked as though we wanted to give the game to Cliftonville early on with two sloppy goals. Young Marcus Kane scored a 'cracker' third goal (looks a good prospect) and the only thing from then on that was going to beat us was the weather although the refereeing again was shocking. What is it that every time we go up to Solitude it's the same - sometimes I wonder? The number of free kicks he gave against us was astounding considering the number of times he waved play on when we should have been awarded one - the foul on Michael Gault that he didn't award defied belief.
Goal scorers: Peter Thompson (2), Philip Lowry, Marcus Kane.
